Also, IT IS OKAY to sing WITHOUT a C.D. or tape, especially if your child is brand new to the audition process.

CAST FEE INFORMATION FOR JOSEPH: If you are cast as a LEAD which is one of the brothers, Joseph, Jacob, Narrators, Pharaoh, Potiphar, or Potiphars wife your cast fee breakdown is as follows:
OPTION #1: Pay the FULL $160.00 cast fee and sell the required 10 tickets. OPTION #2: Pay a $125.00 cast fee and sell a required 20 tickets to the show. OPTION #3: Teens, 15 and above, can ‘work off’ a chunk of their cast fee doing costumes, set clean up, delivering posters, etc. (See BLUE area below for more information on this option)
If you are cast as a small speaking role or ensemble in CAST (A), (B), or (C) You pay a $80.00 cast fee and sell a required 10 tickets to the show. To qualify for this option you must be between the ages of 7 and 13 years of age.
You can specify on the audition form if you want your child to be considered for a LEAD or SUPPORTING LEAD ONLY or if you want them to be considered for ENSEMBLE or SMALL SPEAKING ROLE only. There will also be an option where you can check off ‘I don’t care what type of role they get’
ANY TEEN - 15 years and up - can WORK OFF THE AMOUNT of their cast fee helping out with set clean up, costumes, organization etc. THE TEEN MUST SPECIFY THAT THEY WANT TO WORK OFF THEIR CAST FEE ON THEIR AUDITION FORM. The teens will work off their fee at $8.50 an hour. So, if the cast fee is $160.00 they have to work approximately 19 hours.
The cast fee is due at the first meeting following the auditions because we must get your child insured before they can start rehearsals with us. There is no charge to cast members over the age of 19 years. The cast fee covers their insurance while they are with us; costume rental and cleaning; cast party and FREE cast photo of the cast. Your child may sell as many tickets as they want, but, they must sell the required 10, 15 or 20 tickets. Payments may be made with cash, check or credit card. If your child drops the show or you pull them out of the show only half of the fee will be refunded to you.
4) TICKET PRICES: FOR JOSEPH and the DREAMCOAT Discount ticket prices for Joseph are $15.00 for adults and $10.00 for kids.
